Edara Naresh, best known by his screen name Allari Naresh, is an actor and producer who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He is the son of veteran Telugu director and producer E.V.V. Satyanarayana. Naresh moved to Hyderabad to pursue an acting career after finishing his education in Chennai. The actor had a dream start to his career, as his first feature film, Allari (2002), not only became a box office hit but also gained him the nickname "Allari." Following his debut, the actor appeared in films such as Maa Alludu Very Good (2003), Kurumbu (2003), Kithakithalu (2006), and Seema Shastri (2007)and before eventually delivering one of the best performances in his career in Gamyam (2008). before finally delivering one of the best peasant films of all time.
Allari received his first Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award and the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film. Seema Tapakai (2011), Brother of Bommali (2014), and Meda Medha Abbayi (2017), a Telugu comedy-drama film directed by G. Prajith, are among his other notable film credits. Apart from acting, Allari Naresh has also produced films under the E.V.V Cinema banner with his elder brother Aryan Rajesh. Silly Fellows (2018) and Naandhi are two of his other films (2021)
